I remember in junior high science class, we had to dissect grasshoppers and then name each part.

The wings were identified as..wings, not what we wanted to call them.

The thorax was identified as the thorax
Not what we were comfortable calling it.

The legs were..the legs not fallopian tubes on the outside of the body.

If you named the body parts any other name you had to start over and do it again, and make everything straight.
It had to look like a whole grasshopper dissected in pieces.

Now days your not allowed to dissect anything because it's considered murder.
