Just bought a monster 11ft pellet waggler rod, Rather than buy another rod, can i fish the method using 25 gram feeder or is the rod not strong enough for the job ?

Can never understand why fisheries ban elasticated feeders but you can fish the pole with stronger elastic Any Idea
