Easy way to catch 3x more fish! (Quick + simple tips)

Want to just get on fish as fast as possible? Want to introduce someone to fishing and make sure they have a good time? Then you should check out this fishing method! Downsizing your hooks and using tiny fishing baits gets you on a ton of fish really fast! It’s just fish after fish after fish! This method is a lot of fun and I recommend that everyone tries this for a simple, super fun day out on the water.

This week, Erin and I are fishing on our tiny boat in our home waters of Maryland, hoping to catch some nice white perch to take home and cook. I love getting outdoors and just having fun. I love catching big fish, but sometimes I just want a more chill day where I can catch a whole mess of different species (quantity over quality). Let’s see what we can catch!

Your sunfish is Redbreast Sunfish (Lepomis auritus) most likely a breeding male.
The genus, a noun, Lepomis means scale gill and the species auritus, an adjective is long eared so it's a Long Eared Scale-Gill.

In Canada, cant even target bass until 3rd Saturday in June, from the closure date of December 15 in the previous year. Its a bit rough, including lockdown (which no one really likes to follow anyways). At least panfish and carp are open year round, so theres that to fill the void until other game fish becomes in season. Stay safe and keep on fishing on! Great video! I might go fishing tomorrow at a small pond that contains largemouth bass, bluegill, and crappie. Because it is my first time going there, I have a few questions that I will include below...

What would be the ideal weather to fish there?

At what time should I fish there?

Where around the pond should I fish and also where should I cast my line out?

What setup(s) should I bring?

What lures should I use?

(It's ok if you are unable to answer all of the questions)

Here are some of the details about the place if it helps (got them from watching videos about it and looking on google maps):

- is a very small pond
- in California, next to a golf course
- the fish are relatively small, but some are big
- water is kind of murky
- the whole pond is surrounded by bulrushes
-many people use worms there, but some also use lures

(and I would prefer to use lures because worms cost money and I don't plan to eat the fish)
