Tarkov Lost a Ton of Player Data and They Can't Get It Back

Title more or less says it all. Tarkov lost a ton of player data. Here's what they said they're going to do about it.

The analogy you’re looking for is: they got tarkov’d, outside of the game of tarkov. They got tarkov’d, in real life. It’d be like if the bank “lost your money” and then gave you 40 grand. Would be awesome unless you had half a million dollars in your account beforehand

So glad I moved to SPT many moons ago. Also a private MPT server for me and my buds. Any problems like this is avoidable by just backing up everyone's profile. Hate to see it on the live. Hopefully they will learn from this mistake.

BSG is the only company I know that would pull some shit like this and not even issue an apology to those affected. I swear they honestly hate their fans and want everyone to know that they do. Compare this to the rollbacks and issues that Ironmace has had and the multitude of apologies and compensation that they've handed out due to it and it's very clear which is the better company to spend your time and money with.
