Which one of these are you putting on your kit? 🤔

Wonder if there'll ever be a Drum Thing / Dankpods collab

I'm not a huge fan of most "trashy" cymbals outside of a good china, o-zone, or occasionally a dark dry ride...but that stainless cymbal surprised me. It's not something I could see myself using often, but I'd have one of those.

Woah, that blank sounds pretty good to be right now tbh; sounds like a decent washy crash/ride right now for a small kit

That Stoner Metal groove at 6:30 is awesome!

That stainless steel cymbal sounds like a combination of the perfect china, ocean waves and a rain stick. I loved it.

13:44 I had a beginner drumset that we bought for 50 bucks, and it sounded exactly like this cymbal 😂

There are higher grades of stainless that become magnetic again. If you want higher heat resistance for high temperature working environments, some alloys used in those are as magnetic as regular steel.

The use of the ride at 14:00 as a hat actually sounds great, lol. Color me shocked.

4 inches is fine! And that Wuhan blank still sounds more like a standard cymbal than the others. Looking forward to seeing what you do to it!

Tiny correction to the part about cymbal alloys: the Paiste Signature cymbal displayed above “B8” isn’t a B8 cymbal, Paiste’s signature alloy is approximately a B15 mixture, so it’s approximately 85% copper and 15% tin with tiny amounts of other metals. Then the Paiste 2002 cymbal displayed above “B12” is actually a B8 cymbal. A cymbal line that actually uses B12 alloy is Meinl Pure Alloy

Every single one of these, I'm sitting there the same way I did when vice city came out, saying "this is as far as graphics can go"

I dont know how you keep finding more weird cymbals, but im sure we'll revisit again! 😂

You should try a Factory Metal Gothic Radius, the bigger the better. Somehow its a pretty damn cool washy ride, the 26" is my favorite and id love to see one on the next Weird Cymbals episode

Great sense of humor. Made me laugh quite a few times. 1. Nebula cymbal is amazing. 2. Wuhan Blank sounded astounding, beautiful sound. 3. Stainless steel cymbal didn't sound good isolated, but with within a group; its a friend you'd like by your side.
Good job and thank you for all, excellent taste, RDR. Ciao.

This is the first video I've seen from you, and I subscribed! Awesome presentation of each cymbal, giving background and insights into them. Great idea with adding one cymbal to the kit at a time. And, they were cool cymbals! I particularly loved the trashy sound of the 27" and that 16" Wuhan worked out to be a nice ride
