This video presents the history of political borders of the Eastern Roman Empire also called Byzantine Empire.
This video does not display the vassal countries of the Empire, the latter being displayed as Byzantine territory.
The video begins around 290 during the Tetrarchy and ends with the fall of the Empire of Trebizond in 1462 by the Ottomans.

The video is composed of approximately 1500 images.

And Sardinia fell completely in 1014 and not 1041. 13:30 Huge mistake it's 1100-1132 and not 1000-1032 !!

This Timelapse just shows how terrible the Angelos Dynasty was. The Byzantines at the whole coast of Anatolia, Bulgaria, and more but then the Angelos Dynasty came along and then the whole thing fractured, and Constantinople was sacked as a result. In short: There is a reason why the part of the video that’s named “decline” is lead by 1 dynasty

Suggestions: There were some major happenings which destroyed the empire, on some you gave details on other not (the plaque for example or the islam empire).
For me, it would been interessting to who the fought. But this would maybe been to much.

Anyway, great video, i enjoyed it a lot. And sorry for my english.
