I love the new Countach but every word you said is absolutely right. The new Countach looks cool but not as cool as the older one. There was no car as much crazy as the old Countach, even today! If I want a crazy looking car, I can go for the Apollo IE. It costs $2.6 million and there are only 10 of those (rarer than the new Countach and still cheaper). Lambo should tweak the Terzo Millenio concept a little bit, forget about safety standards because no one will ever care about it, because it's so crazy that it's not even road legal! Make it a track only! Put a 6.5L NA V12 in it, produce 50 of those (50th anniversary of Countach) and sell them for $10 million each! That would be the real modern Countach!

7:01 Thank you, no one cares if you EV makes a thousand horse power and does 0-60 in sub zero seconds, all I care about is if it provides a good time and makes me smile

I'm glad you talked about the gt! I feel exactly the same about it. It had such an amazing pinifarina design and

For anybody who doesn't know what the three unnamed cars are, they are the following:
VW Beetle (2000's relaunched version)
Holden ZB Commodore, 4 cylinder engine and FWD
the new Acura/Honda Integra

Great video!
I would add the Mitsubishi Eclipse to the list, sadly : (

I like the 8 series too, I think it’s a nice successor to the 6 series and it makes sense that they’d want to have a car in their line up that could fulfill the purpose the 6 series did.

I think it would have been better to call the new Dart the Neon since it replaced it and it looked very similar.

I was very excited about the new Lamborghini countach and when I saw it I could appreciate what they were trying to do and how to carry on a lot of the design cues for it. But I truly believe that they should have and I still hope that they still in the future produce a super aero kit for it

"the kinda car that made you wish you were walking instead" well, a lot of modern Dart owners were walking because of that Chrysler "reliability"

The Alfa Romeo Spider/gtv was absolutely stunning and very good to drive. Shame it was forward wheel drive and not rear wheel drive. Otherwise a gorgeous car.

The gran turismo is tragic. The prettiest car ever fucked up.

The 8 Series Gran Coupe is my favourite-looking BMW to date, so I personally appreciate that it has been made to replace the 6 Series. I also really like the look of the new Gran Turismo, it’s characterful like the old one, but in its own way. Most importantly, it’s actually new. The old one will always be a timeless classic, but if the new one came out looking nearly identical, I won’t give it a second look, no matter how pretty it is.

As much as I usually agree with your opinion, I can't say the same about your opinion on the 8 series.
The G15 8 series still looks very special on the outside. Especially in black it looks like something you don't wanna mess with.

As from the performance point of view? It's absolutely doing the right thing. BMWs especially M cars are generally known for making a lot more power than claimed (hell, just look at the M5 CS that can almost keep up with a new 911 Turbo in a drag race). And even if the E31 came out with an M8 variant that made 700 horsepower, it still would have taken a while to take this thing off the line. That's just how high performance luxury cars worked back in the days. Power isn't everything.

Another car to add to this list is the Lancia Delta.... well the entire brand Lancia since 90s should stay here, but that's another story.

Comparing the new Maserati power being a JACK HAMMER VS the old Maserati sounds like listening to PAVAROTTI = Brilliant comparison!!!! Well placed FUN editing gives me many opportunities to laugh and makes this video on a 1-10 scale an 11!!!

I agree with everything listed except the Countach and M8.

The Countach to me represents the best aspects of Lamborghini while standing out visually amongst the uninteresting roster of modern super and hypercars. And unlike it's siblings (Sian and SVJ) it actually looks good and doesn't give me brain hemorrhaging by just catching a fleeting glimpse. It's a faithful hommage to the original, like the 2005 Ford GT or the upcoming 3.0 CSL.

As for the M8, while it might not be the most impressive BMW ever made, it's arguably the most beautiful (although the M1 Procar and M5 CS are contenders as well). While I understand that many would have wished for BMW to go all bonkers with a V12 and one trillion hp, that simply wouldn't suit the car at hand and not BMWs current image (well their image before stuff like the iX, G80 M3 or the new 7-Series lol). It's a tasteful GT with a strong powertrain that helps it to keep up with the fierce competition in form of the RS7 and GT63 as well as the Bentley Continental GT and even the Ferrari Roma. Alone the fact that the M8 competes with a Bentley and a Ferrari is definitely impressive and is in line with what you said about the first M8.

Is it my favorite car? Definitely not, but it's a very competent, mature and capable car and I'm always pleased when I see one. Although funnily enough most M8s I see are Gran Coupés, I guess four doors are just better for most customers (although I would just take an M5 lol)

But that aside, I agree with the rest of the list, although I didn't even know the Dodge Dart was a thing to begin with.

My biggest issue with the Countach is the taillights... A car with an iconic name deserves its own rear end, not one of a Sian.
