Honorable mentions:
1. Ferrari FF : It was a Ferrari 'station wagon' but it was actually a really good daily driver. Proper seating for 4 and AWD means you finally have a proper Italian exotic that you can use as your daily.

2. Suzuki Kizashi : An unexpected and a proper Mid-size sedan from a manufacturer that made small hatchbacks and SUVs. It still amazes me that why such a good car never got so many customers. Was the Kizashi so underrated or the Camry/Accord were so overrated?

3. Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 : A muscle car that can give Porsches a run for their money around corners. Finally a muscle car that isn't only made for straights but can also pass every corner.

Porsche had a great reputation in endurance rally before the Cayenne. Even the 959 was developed for Group B. If there's a sports car brand that could make a great SUV for off road, it's definitely Porsche

The Smart is safe for its size. It's a common misconception that it is safer than a Hummer or other such vehicles that have way bigger crumple zones. No matter how hard that shell is, that energy that isn't dissipated has to go somewhere. And that somewhere is the occupants bodies.

My neighbor and several people I knew have Figaro's here in the UK, being rhd from Japan they're quite popular with us Brits! They're extremely hard to buy parts for and they rot really badly unfortunately but otherwise they look pretty cool, came in loads of different colour combos and they have a signature shell equivalent to rhinos on Suzukis or sharks on vauxhalls etc.

I think kia stinger GT is also a surprising car, it is a sleeper, RWD fast car which was never expected to come from kia itself

About the Dino 208 GT4, when mentioned that Gandini designed the car, it also mentions he was responsible for designing the De Tomaso Pantera, but as far as I know, the Pantera was designed by Tom Tjaarda and only much later "updated" by Gandini in the Ghia Studio, in the early 90's. It could instead be replaced with the Lamborghini Miura, the Alfa Romeo Montreal or the Bugatti EB 110, all jaw-dropping designs that represent Gandini's finest works. Great video by the way!

I'm not gonna call myself a PROUD Smart driver but it is an amazing little thing. You ALWAYS find a spot, you can ALWAYS just turn around in 3 strokes, you can fill it up and go 500miles, the trunk is THERE and it's been enough for shopping and travel for 2, idk what to say. If you don't NEED more - or can't take the low standing in traffic, that's a fact! - you should be fine and it's DAMN EASY and chill to drive and you'll never be stopped like you would in something cool😊
There are even women who say it's cute and proves your confidence isn't based on a car
