My husband has had chronic cluster headaches every night since 2004. They look like seizures on EEG. Think of them as seizures where you don't pass out. He's been on a variety of antiseizure meds over the years. Lithium and gabapentin were helpful but the lithium caused kidney damage. Now he's on Keppra and gabapentin.

I heard of this from TikTok it's mindblowing how bad it must be and that there is no cure? Very sorry for all the people affected.

Absolutely clueless
Any who suffers cluster headaches knows it’s beyond anything u can imagine
At times you would throw yourself off a bridge to stop the pain
And the shame is the two things that can help, oxygen and sumitripton they will not give you .
I am coming out of a two month episode 3/4 times a day
10/10 on the pain threshold
I pray u never get it
