It's literally statistically impossible for us to be the only ones here. But if so other beings are more or even just as intelligent as us, they're smart enough to stay away from us. We're killing our own one and only place to live, we kill each other just because we're from different places and look different, and we think we're better than each other. I wouldn't want to be contacted by humans either.

If they were trying to communicate, it would have been repeated. Either it was something incidental, like a passing ship, or some rare natural phenomenon. If it was an ET, it was not a deliberate attempt to talk to us.

It would be pretty arrogant of us to assume we are the only intelligent species alive in the universe! Considering the state of the world and certain large countries at the moment, I think they were probably doing a flyby and realised pretty quick that we probably aren't worth their time.😂
