Romania didn't compete in Eurovision 2016 due to the non-payment of debts totalling CHF 16 million during ESC 2016. They picked an entry that was supposed to go and it was already confirmed on the Eurovision Channel (you can see the nf performance there). So I wanted to include it in this top. In general I have to say, that Romania is a powerhouse that often gets underrated and especially the nqs in 2019 & 2021 made me very sad :( what do you think about Romania's Eurovision Entries? :)

2010 is my favorite from that year, and my 5th favorite of all time. 2014 is one of my favs too. 2019 and 2021...ROBBED
And 2022 I know everyone is love with that but it's my 31th in that year...

My top 13 of Romania 🇷🇴 in Eurovision (2010-2022):
13: 2018: very meh. Good vocals but cheesy song with bad staging. 4/10.
12: 2019: the staging lacks impact and is messy but the song is really enthralling. 6.5/10.
11: 2021: same comments as 2019 but the lyrics are much more impactful and better. 7/10.
10: 2015: such a nice and pleasant song with a great message. Amazing staging and performance. 7/10.
9: 2016: such a dark and impactful rock song with great vocals. Amazing staging especially for a national final. 8/10.
8: 2014: such a catchy and fun song with a great performance. 8.5/10.
7: 2020: this song is so unique in its sound and I love the vocals. 8.5/10.
6: 2011: such a catchy and fun song with a great message. The performance is also charming. 9/10.
5: 2012: so catchy and fun. The performance is so cute and fun and so is the song. Such a great Spanish vibe. 9/10.
4: 2022: this song is so catchy and amazing. The performance is iconic. My ear worn of the year with Denmark 🇩🇰 (weird I know). 9.5/10.
3: 2013: such an amazing and iconic entry. 10/10.
2: 2017: so unique and iconic. I do not know who came up with the combo of rap-yodelling but it is just so amazing. 10/10.
1: 2010: amazing staging and iconic song that is so catchy. 10/10.
Overall Romania 🇷🇴 is a great of mine in Eurovision. They almost always send quality even if their selection process is not the highest in quality. They always send catchy fun pop songs which is my thing. They also put together great stagings even though between 2018 and 2021 they were not great at it. I hope they win one day.
