I think what's happening with 8 gen 3 is that the chip is soo powerful that it's not even sweating despite throwing big apps on it like games i think we're in a situation where the hardware is too powerful for the software which is good but you're not actually using the full potential of the processor

8 gen 2 is an awesome chip to be honest, yeah it may be have lower performance than 8 gen 3 but that's expected because technology is always progressing exponentially.

In my researching, the dimentsy 9300 beats both A17, 8gen 3, in power efficiency, thermal throttling, heat management, single multi core ect, device vivo X100, if you want proof👇

Warning : This is not the correct time to check performance. Winter is here and ambient temperature is below 20 degrees. Real test will be in summers. And I have seen same issue with SD8G1 and 8G2. Winter time they perform great with great battery life but in lil summer they heat like anything.

apple fans in the comments, not ready to digest the fact 8 gen 3 is a overall better than their a17, and whatever the scores are, 8 gen 3 gives better performance with stability and less heating, a17 heats more than 8 gen 3 in high end tasks
