New and more detailed comparison video with the Dimensity 9000 and the Kirin 9000 chip!

Hey guys, we made a small mistake. At 2:17 we mixed up the 3rd and 4th place. The Exynos is on 3rd and the Tensor on 4th place. And in the 3D Mark Test we accidentally took the Wildlife Stress test on the snapdragon instead of the Wildlife Extreme Stress test.

So we ran the test again with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and these are the correct results:
Best loop score: 2.924
Lowest loop score: 2.365
Stability: 90, 1%

Sorry for these little mistakes ☺️✌️

I mean I liked the Video, because I´m a geek, but if we are honest it isn´t like the old days anymore, where benchmarks are an indicator for the fluidity of a phone. Even the "worst" chip in this test can perform every everyday task like whatsapp, instagram and nearly every game in their app stores without any problems. Things like update support and camera performance are the bigger decision makers nowadays.

man i swear i haven't seen a comparison video this good in a long time. not only did u just showed the results but u also talked about how benchmarks work and what kind of stress they put on the soc. a solid video overall and u got a new subscriber.

For a 1st time contender, tensor was really impressive, looking forward to see what tensor 2 can do !

Would've been interesting to see Kirin compared as well. I have 990 5G and it's still stunningly fast 🙌🏻

I'm from Brazil, I've never seen a test as well done as yours. Congratulations, you gained another follower!

One interesting test: Take popular video editors available on both platforms and see which CHIP performs better in what. 8 gen 1 does way better with other editors like Kinemaster.

Just a few years ago Snapdragon and Bionic were on top and there were no competitions(Exynos was lacking by a lot). Now I'm glad to see things getting more spicy

Most of the tests where understandable, except the Excel one, opening that file wouldn't be too CPU intensive until you have to calculate the conditional formatting (if that, it might be cached in the file) making it more of a test on memory speed than a test on CPU performance, executing a macro that changed a lot of values or recalculated the entire file would have been a better indicator.

You guys should have mentioned that you guys were running the tests back to back without letting them cool down. The Tensor chip starts to throttle heavily once it starts to heat up.

Apple is still miles ahead in the chip department. Especially with CPU performance.

My new daily is the S23 with the SD8G2 while brought my mother the iPhone 14+ with the A15. I like Android while she likes iOS, and happy with the performance with both devices. She found the 14 ProMax too heavy and didn't mind the older A15 and 2 cam setup.

Happy times for both of us.

1. With the 3D mark test the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was benchmarked at a 2560px1440p resolution, whilst the others were benchmarked at 3840px2160p which obviously the Snapdragon scored higher, 2. You can’t compare Antutu benchmark between iPhones and Android since they’re not cross platform, in reality the A15 (5-Core GPU) would technically score around 255-270k on CPU, and around 440-450k on GPU if the android variant was tested on it.

on Pixel 6 Pro using Geekbench I got significantly higher scores than in your test, I guess they're still improving the device with software updates.

It's impressive how the Tensor, first of its kind, held the competition with three much more rodated "veterans"

Watching these clips of my Uni ( TU Berlin) makes me anxious 😂

Given that the Tensor chip is the oldest processor in the bunch (Apple improved the A15 bionic last month), I'd say it did fairly well. I was surprised it even beat any of the other processors at some things. The only thing I wish would have been added to this test would be some AI/Machine learning tests. This is where Tensor should really shine since this is what Google designed it for. After all, even most cheap phones these days run fairly fast, but how smart/functional are they compared to the AI power of the Google Pixel line with the Tensor SOC? That is why I purchased the Pixel 6 Pro instead of the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The amazing thing about the bionic chip is that apart from being one of the best, it make the battery wayyy longer than the other chips
