If you play VR via any oculus headset make sure that you leave the "Quality Windows Audio Video Experience" service on manual and the last 3 settings in the NVIDIA control panel on default. Switching those to anything else will break the rift app.

if anyone is having problems overclocking 900 series GPUs and cant change core voltage and power limit make sure to go back to driver 512.95, thats the last driver that supports that, just wanted to put that out there in case someone is having problems with that :)

Great guide, even as someone who tweaks windows constantly I learned a few new things. Some things you also could've mentioned are making an NTLite/msmgtoolkit lightweight ISO aswell as debloating your nvidia driver with DDU and NVCleanstall.

Yo just wanted to thank you this fixed my awful stuttering drastically improved input delay and fixed the weird 1% lows in rust, not sure what specifically but most likely any of the cpu optimization n shit, I've tried so many things in the past and they help but only for a short while and usually some how wear off and I can't do them again. Please note that the pooling rate of the mouse affect cpu usage quite a lot. It will affect your fps in CPU hungry games, so maybe don't max up your mouse hz at the very max.
