Jonny, your lessons are just what "the doctor prescribed" for me! I play classical music and can play by ear, but it's the improvisational skills the area I want to improve. Your instructions are very clear, precise, easy to follow, and give results - you are the best teacher and the nicest person! Thank you so much!

You are a real educator of music. I am a retired tutor of The Registry of Guitar Tutors and Piano Guild of America. I also am a Violinist and Double Bassist. I have an Honorary PhD in Music Composition, Arranging, Orchestrating and Conducting. Keep doing what you do! Your marketing plan is remarkably interesting!

Jonny - As you may know by now I am transposing your technique to the accordion. I love this lesson in particular, because the left hand is kept simple. I would like to be directed to more of this. If you are familiar with the accordion, my LH is restricted in piano terms, but I can do all the base tones and if I take off my lower reeds, it sounds pretty much like a piano. Anyway, I can follow this easily. On some of your videos you call the left hand simple but in the end it's not so simple from my point of view.

I also now understand more of the G/B type notation and I can do that using both left and right hands as you show.

It's been a great help to me - please keep it up.

I like your using ‘threes’. I have worked using threes in my work as a composer and arranger. Four Part Harmony can be established with only three notes. I’m 68 years old and still use this. I also like you using simple language when teaching.
