Holly Willoughby said she felt “shaken, troubled, let down and worried” as she made an emotional return to This Morning in the wake of Phillip Schofield’s departure from the ITV programme.

The TV presenter, 42, was back on screen after being pictured in Portugal with her family on a half-term break following the shock departure of her former co-host Schofield and his subsequent revelation of an affair with a younger ITV male employee.

I've just been watching his 10 min clip interview he gave Vs Amol at the BBC else notice how his demeanor is different in both of them, in comparison? I'm so sick of the bystanders saying their 2 peneth worth to cover their own arses first, before dissecting what has happened, to the colleague who they knowingly supported for all those years. People have eyes, especially in a workplace....they all new. But people are only interested in covering their own backs and paychecks. It's all disgusting! I feel so sorry for the wife and children.
