This video goes over the process of staining five square of shingles for an upcoming project by dipping them. It was a long process but I'm happy with the results. Check out more videos on out channel page. Thanks for watching.

I think the fastest way would be to go ahead and nail up your siding, and then spray on your stain and back roll with a brush

Same thing here. I’m on bundle #9, using solid acrylic stain, not watered down. I put them outside to dry, on an extension ladder, pivoting on strips of vinyl siding trim. Yes, time consuming, but damn they look good! I like your clothespin idea. I do 1/2 a bundle a day. Have about 24 total bundles to finish and weather will be too cold soon enough.

that fastest i have done it (out of 2x 😂); hang/drape plastic from ceiling (creating a mock wall with floor plastic cover, run 4 lines across & clamp shingles like you did (x4), and spray both sides while hanging. that was 4 rows at a wap.

I mean if you're doing it that way it's as fast as possible. I'd say maybe some fans to increase airflow in the room for them to dry faster and maybe opening a window for venting, but would say if you do the window may wanna replace that drop ceiling/cover the holes with some cardboard so a stray bird doesn't make a new home. Hope it turns out well and make sure to stay hydrated
