It is very unfortunate that a huge percentage of Canadians are NOT financially savvy and NOT well-informed about Flexible Currencies (example: AMEX membership rewards points and RBC Avion in Canada). Instead, they only focus on one program like Aeroplan with TD and CIBC (probably because its easy, convenient and simple). Canadians can do so much more by having multiple options when transferring their points rather than be at the mercy of one ecosystem. Plus, the multipliers on those TD and CIBC cards are relatively weak. Personally, my top credit cards in Canada are only AMEX Cobalt and Scotia Passport Visa Infinite. Other than that, I open and maintain US domicile credit cards (Chase, Capital One, AMEX USA, Citi, Wells Fargo and BILT) which are far more powerful and flexible.

I think people didn’t vote for the AMEX Cobalt as the best overall card/travel card because of the 1x on travel. I’m still keeping my Cobalt though along with TD VIP.

So the cobalt did not get anything at all this time or I missed it? Quite sad !! I can see how the visa passport and the TD Aeroplan are at the top though, they are great options for travelers collecting points or making purchases abroad and getting some lounge access that is not restricted to Canada and not required to pay a huge annual fee, congrats to the winners and great job for all your work providing this valuable info 🎉

So rogers card should be in retail loyalty card and on top of that list because you get 3 percent cashback no fee for all purchases if you redeem for rogers purchase
