I love being single, it took some time to get me into this mindset. God has used me in tremendous ways to do His purposes while I am here on earth. I know unconditional love and I preach the gospel to myself daily because that is ultimate love. It reaffirms my worth when I preach the gospel to myself.

I have been praying and preparing for marriage while being single for years. I know I have worth regardless of whatever status God has decided to place me. Praying for marriage isn’t the only thing that I pray and have faith for.

I have had a woman laugh at me because she said she had a husband and I didn’t have one. When this woman did this to me I knew who was speaking to me and how the enemy wanted to attack me through that moment. The Lord has built me up so much so that her statement and laughing at me didn’t affect me. I know my worth and it doesn’t come from man. I know who I am.

Marriage is idolized in the chirstian world. Not just of singles, but in the church! If we feel we are less than, it is because singles are not celebrated or supported. Marriages and people with children are. I'm so tired of hearing that singles should change when we also need to address the whole issue.

I just want to say thank you . I just subscribed to your channel. I don't know why but last night the singleness period really hit me hard this year, especially around the holidays. Normally I get through the moments but last night was rally hard. I always felt like that's the one area in my life that has been a constant struggle. I will be 33 next year and I started feeling like as each years passes by that I was losing hope. It's very hard when the one thing you pray for and every one around you, like literally whether in church or at work, is getting blessed with it. It got to the point that a few times I asked God to remove the desire if it wasn't from Him because I get tired of feeling like I've been bypassed in this area of my life. It's even harder when you have the faith for someone else but not even myself. I don't idolize marriage and I know it's not the end all and be all in life. I asked the Lord for help and for some reason your video popped up in my feed. I use to think I was undeserving, and that I wasn't good enough. A lot of times I thought something must be wrong with me or I must be doing something wrong. I've been doing all I can to prepare. I just want to say thank you. When you mentioned you had 4 kids it actually revived my hope. I always wanted 3 kids but I figured I'm getting older that may not happen for me and I'm not even married let alone have anyone courting me yet. I thank God I came across your channel. Great point about putting God first and not letting other people and the devil make you feel bad about yourself. I recently made a video for Christian singles on my YouTube channel and had some of the same points. My video was made from the perspective of a 22 year old man who has never really been in a serious relationship, so my video was mostly about focusing on your relationship with God and not letting what you see other people doing influence your own choices and mindset. (How I have joy in what I currently have and do not put pressure on relationships).
