So my friend got her Facebook hacked, she didn't give anyone a password or anything but it still happened. The more she tried to get her account back, the smarter the hacker became.

She first sent her ID and get a new email address on the fb account. But the address was wrong so she had to make that address and wait 2 days for it to be active. By this time, the hacker had changed her name and profile picture so the ID option won't work. She then finally got into her email and renewed her pw but upon realization, the hacker turned on the 2 step verification process. What can she do to retrieve her account when fbs customer service sucks?

This is why you should have a burner phone like a prepaid that doesn’t require Personal ID for setup. Hackers can’t remote access the phone and can’t call customer service and fake your ID to have the sims changed.

Well, i never received the code for the 2-factor crap at all even though i entered my phone number correctly? So what's the deal?

How to make two step verification more safe?
Number 1 you can verify it is you by using your face (this cannot be done by using a photo)
Number 2 make the expired 6 digits code more shorts like 50 to 20 second
And finally number 3 make it impossible to deactivate 2 step verification by contacting support (company will no longer be able to deactivate 2 step verification even if he/she has the password)
