After using this method for about an hour a day for a week I hit my first 2k damage game, not to mention you start to become really conscious of what you do right and wrong

Recently I've been trying this new method of improving my sensitivity where I played a super low sensitivity that I wasn't comfortable before.
I came from 800dpi 2.5 in game. I want to have more consistency so I started switching to 1.5-1.2 800dpi. This sens is the best sens for apex. You have enough control and also have enough sensitivity for picking up loot and flicking around.

So here's what I did. I go to strafetrack which is the second task in the tracking menu. I switch my sens to 0.6-0.8 800dpi and try tracking. Meanwhile I'm also utilizing arm aiming for this sens and also wrist aiming. Then I hop on to gridshot and try to hit as much circles as I can with a low sens. After that, I'd bump the sens up again to see if I still have inconsistent overshooting or poor tracking. This helped me alot in terms of tracking and also teaching me how to position your aim in game. I used 0.7 800dpi in pubs to warmup and I am forced to pick the loot I want and aim at a direction where enemies would attack from.

Hope this helps you. Don't force stuck yourself in one sens, that's not the real discipline. The real discipline is to not mindlessly flick, trigger discipline and also utilizing more of your characters movement to compensate with your aim.

I wanted to ask you about tracking, more specifically should you try to predict the enemy movement speed and track based on that or have it be entirely reaction based?

Fun fact, there is no recoil when tracking in apex. It's a "feature". It's what people are abusing to have no recoil + arthritis.

Edit: To explain, When moving your aim while shooting all recoil is negated. So you if you jiggle your mouse really fast or play with one of those small vibrators on your mouse you will have 0 recoil.

I'm happy aim lab has controller support for this but I wish the sensitivity settings adjusted to what they would be with controller instead of mouse sensitivity settings no matter what

My brother told me if i can get good in apex legend i can be good in almost every fps games, and i think that is kinda true despite every other fps games has their own unique characteristic of gameplay

I feel like there are some adjustments to do, but if I do them, I will feel too slow or fast. I am at 1.7-1.8 in-game sens, 750 dpi with a Logitech G502. My desk's dimensions: 60cm x 100cm. I have a gaming laptop. The mousepad is the QcK+ from Steelseries. I think it's a 33cm x 44cm. Like... I have to manage between not going too high to be able to track and not going too low to avoid going off the mousepad and being able to do 180s. The margin is very thin.

To get rid of this problem, I need a larger desk, which also means a smaller bed because I have a Queen bed in a small room (330cm x 270cm).
