Did you know, for example, that you can apply some petroleum jelly to the eyelids before using eye shadows? To style your hair, rub petroleum jelly between your fingers and apply it to your hair. Two years ago I had cancer on my nose. The doctor did a procedure called Mohs. My cancer was quite deep, and I looked pretty rough for a couple of weeks. My doctor told me to keep Vaseline on it, until it was healed. It speed up the healing process, and lessened the scarring. You can not tell where the surgery was. So, for those who say it’s not good for the human body, I disagree. It certainly did wonders on my nose! I would recommend you use it on your cuts and abrasions. Unless you like scars.

Very useful tip: before putting on your socks and walking shoes, apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly or vaseline underneath your feet esp. the friction prone areas. This will prevent callouses and roughening/ hardening of skin if you are into regular long walks everyday. Apply them on feet to prevent shoe bites. I found this very very useful.
