Good one Jake. I would like to see a longer video or maybe a series of videos on how you set up your business from startup to successful operation. Business structure, processes, software, daily routine, etc. Thanks.

Its funny.. I actually did MBA school before I became a carpenter and then builder. So I guess I am one of those few who actually was a businessman who became a builder. Dont miss that corporate world one bit either.

I wish someone would have educated me early on to seriously appraise the client as much as you would the project and the bid. If for any reason you have concerns about the client, politely walk away. Good business is best when all parties are on the same page My two cents. Good video and thanks to all of you for sharing... 😁👍

I really appreciate this conversation. A home is often the most valued item a person owns. Because of this, it can bring forth strong emotions. Those emotions and expectations must be managed well. If they are not it can eat you up and make the home building process bad for all parties involved.
