I keep it to once a week. I used to be strict in always uploading on Wednesdays, but I've relaxed my weekly deadlines in favor of putting out my weekly video when I'm actually satisfied with it. One time several years ago I tried putting out 4 videos in 4 days and I noticed I lost a LOT of subscribers and the videos didn't get very many views. I've been doin' the once a week for about 7 years and I'm hangin' in there! I liked your tip about batch filming. I've been meaning to do that... maybe this week I will!😀

From what i’ve seen so far the algorithm responds to watch time more then frequency of uploads. And the audience tends to watch more with quality, humor and good info over frequency, with only a few exceptions.

I went from 1 video per week to 2 videos per week recently and I feel that's key. Of course, consistency is very important but once you have embraced that the real number is 2 videos per week or more, of course. If you want to be monetised that is... 🙋🏻‍♀️ But, of course, 1 video per week or even per month is better than no video at all 😉

I've been trying to post once a week from this year BUT like you said, uploading a video is better than none. I've seen my channel grow A GOOD amount this past year too! Batch videos is the way to go for me. I don't mind editing since I really like editing. But man, that batch video tip is REALLY nice because it really does give you videos nearly every week (once a week for me).

Been posting every other Friday consistently for almost a year. We are pushing to do every week in the next month. I totally agree that the videos need to be quality. I see many who post everyday and see less results because there is little to no editing or retakes.
