I have 878K subs and I upload mostly Youtube shorts. I upload 1 short per day on average depending on the ranking (1/10) in a few hours time after upload. When I was starting out with just a few hundred subscribers, I uploaded 2-3 shorts per day and spaced every few hours.

Its different for every channel, pay close attention to your analytics. I try to post daily at 5:30 to 6pm and thats what works for me. I have over 150k subscribers soo far.

Great video because I think that the biggest problem with YouTubers now is their lack of strategy. Like they upload everything straight away, and then they run out of ideas. This business is about constant uploading, but not too many times per week (and also after I upload something, I use a little bit of Famester to make that piece of content instantly viral and popular). It's better to upload like once or twice per week, and it helps to avoid burn out.

Since I started my channel six months ago, I've been posting one long-form video a week (typically going live at 12pm on Fridays). I genuinely don't think I'm capable of increasing that output frequency without compromising my video quality, but thankfully my growth has been super steady even with only producing a single episode every week. I consistently average about 100 new subscribers a week this way.
