Six Eyed Sand Spider (baby) Burying Itself

Sicarius terrosus species burying itself. A very interesting species to observe, despite its potent venom. This specimen is only a baby a little over half an inch big. I bought it almost a month ago from Ken the Bug Guy. He's great as ever.

Awe, those things are so cute. You might want to use a finer grain sand.

Amazing how fast it can move its legs. They are cute but sadly their poison is dangerous for humans and can cause serious health issus

So when it buries itself what is there purpose, and if it's to catch food how can they see if they cover themselves?

I have a question: when it is burying itself, it first dig a hole, puts its cephalothorax and abdomen in the hole, and just before it buries itself by throwing sand with its two front legs, why does it do the vibrating thing with its other legs?
