and then the source material ruins that fixation to the point of no return that all inspiration gets sucked out of you for many reasons
(Still fixated within reason that's what AUs/canon divergence is for....but man did my inspiration die)

I don't tend to fall into fandoms like this, but i do tend to fixate on completely random things fairly often. Like ever since i was child I've had a strange fascination with shipwrecks and sunken vessels, especially tragic ones. I just find them all really interesting, but it's hard to explain to people without them thinking it weird or that I'm crazy lol.

The media itself isn’t that weird but sometimes it’s the micro-obsessions that get you. Like, this is a beautiful show about accepting help and believing in yourself and those around you, and my brain decided I like the divorced old men yaoi. Wasn’t my biggest takeaway but it was definitely one of them

I’m also shocked it’s so specific because (this is mildly embarrassing) it’s just Kakashi from Naruto either dimension traveling or time traveling. And I actively talk to 90% of the authors
It’s been multiple months since new content dropped i’m starving help me
