Welcome to New Testament Greek! This is our first lesson. It is presented by Heracles Panagiotides, PhD. He's from Greece, teaches Greek -- He is Greek!
This is a place where the statement "It's Greek to me" will have new meaning! You can learn how to speak Greek (properly) --no Erasmian here. He didn't speak it, why should you?! -- read Greek, and understand Greek.

Welcome!

Here is the lesson:

God is love.
Ὁ Θεός ἐστίν ἀγάπη.

This is WONDERFUL!  Thank you!

Just to let you know, there is a section that repeats itself--around 1:45-2:30 is a repeat of the section just before it

I tried to hear your pronunciation for the chi but souded silent...I thought chi was pronounced as a "k"...strong's conc. gives this pronunciation   chairo,   khah'-ee-ro . Is he wrong?

I thought there was an "H" sound at the beginning of  ʼο, I don't hear it here, and yet, I was under the impression this gentleman was a native Greek speaker. I'm confused.
