VICTRON ENERGY MULTIPLUS-2 50 amp inverter PROJECT GOLIATH, installing the off grid power system.

In today’s video where are installing the off-grid power system in Goliath. We will be using a Victron Energy
Multiplus 2 which is a 3000 watt inverter unit that is a full pass-through unit. That means that when connected to shore power it will allow a true 50 amp split phase to feed the breaker box. And when running OFF GRID OUR 12 volt battery bank will supply 120 Volt sing,e phase power to both legs of the distribution box. This means that all of our electrical devices within Goliath will work even when we are not plugged in. We will also be installing a lot of other components needed for the system including a DC DC charger so that the house batteries will also charge while we’re driving down the road.
