My kids got me one for Christmas in a kit along with the doorbell camera. My intent was to place it inside and facing out a window at the back deck. There is even a setting for looking out a window. The problem is that blue light reflects off the window glass and ruins the image. I spent an hour trying to turn it off in the settings. I guess I'm getting out the black tape!

So stupid how you can't turn off the blue light. I have it against the window and at night time it reflects

Isn't there a setting to turn this off? Seems like I saw a reference to that but now I can't find it.

Wanting to turn the light off is so obvious and would be so easy that I'm sure there must be a reason Ring doesn't give us that feature. I'm guessing there are regulatory reasons but would love if somebody knows for sure and can share.
