my thoughts for a mario sequel would probably be a combination of super mario world (since most likely their going to introduce yoshi in the sequel) and luigi's mansion and cast should include alison brie as daisy, danny devito as wario, jason mantzoukas as waluigi, jermaine clement as king boo and christopher lloyd as professor e gad
also i think we might need a nintendo cinematic universe starting phase 1 with
a donkey kong movie with seth rogen back as donkey kong and fred armisen as cranky kong and some new actors like danny pudi as diddy kong, kat dennings as dixie kong and jim gaffigan as the villian king k rool
a star fox movie with chris pine as fox, michael b jordan as falco and idris elba as wolf
a kirby movie with pedro pascal as meta knight and matt berry as king dedede
a metroid movie with emilia clarke as samus and keith david as ridley
a pokemon movie (not like detective pikachu) with asher angel as ash, sadie sink as misty, justice smith as brock, robert sheehan as james, cara delevigne as jessie and alan tudyk as meowth
a legend of zelda movie with dylan o'brien as link, emma watson as zelda, and chiwetel ejofor as gannondorf
and the first phase ends with an avengers style super smash bros movie with almost everyone returning

Felt like the cards were flipped here, Chris knows a lot more Nintendo than I thought, and it's very clear Jack's Mario Knowledge is limited to the basics by thinking Wario would be some huge threat played by Pedro Pascal

A Mario RPG storyline would be epic. That could be the third movie. Bowser would team up with the clan, and then can incorporate Mario Galaxy elements into it. So Mario Galaxy X Mario RPG is my idea! What do y’all think?

Charles Martinet should be Wario! Pedro Pascal is way too smooth and chill for a gruff guy like Wario, I think he'd be much better as a character that matches his voice, like Geno for example. And on that note, if Jack Black wants Bowser to team up with Mario against a greater threat, just adapt one of the RPGs! Smithy is the OG villain that causes Mario and Bowser to team up!
