Jack Black inhabits a character like nobody else. He is constantly championing whatever character he is in any movie at any press event. He BECOMES a fan of a character he gets cast as and it's amazing because he ties everything he does into the Character at interviews like this.

The Mario IP is one of the rare instances where it has endured so long that multiple generations have "grown up" with it. This is the film that older folks have been waiting for their whole lives and can truly share the excitement and experience with their kids.

I met Chris Pratt at the Santa Barbara film festival and he was super cool . I was very lucky to talk to him about Jurassic World and Mario . I’m so excited for the movie

Koji Kondo the composer of the Super Mario Bros. soundtrack got inspired by japanese jazz bands at the time of creating these masterpieces. Theres a video out there on youtube explaining how composers do not steal but get inspired from other work of art and how it influences there work.

It's only by watching them sitting together that I just realized how this cast has brought together some of the most legendary comedians of Hollywood together in one single film. That was quite a genius move !
I don't care about all the Chris Pratt's voice controversy, you can't deny the man IS one of Hollywood's most funnily charming actors !

You can see Chris look over at him with a look that definitely said "nice. but dude..."

Love Chris’s explanation of Mario’s character in the movie. It’s his personality in the games, except we finally hear Mario talking in full sentences and get to see his personality shine even more. What a legendary character for Chris to be able to voice, I am sure he’s honored and privileged to voice a character who has brought joy to millions of people.

Jack Black is simply amazing in whatever role he plays!! I loved him as Po the Panda in Kung Fu Panda!! This guy makes characters timeless!! I am also pretty excited for Chris Pratt and the humor he brings to the main character, Mario!!
