The casting director for this movie did a perfect job.

Chris absolutely rocked it. Charlie was amazing as always (iasip is the greatest tv show ever made). Jack Black was the perfect bowser. Seth playing DK and doing the iconic Seth laugh as DK was awesome. Keegan’s Toad voice was phenomenal. And Anya as Peach was a perfect fit. They all put on a tremendous performance.

Just watched the movie and it was amazing. It probably helped that I recognized all the music tracks and characters from the games I played. Biggest disappointment for me was almost everyone in my theater leaving during the credits, as there was a post-credits scene

Everybody was great here. In fact, one thing I almost feel that the main Toad in the movie, looks like he could eventually become Capt. Toad. Not only does he travel with camping/adventuring equipment; he is already established as an effective survivalist, forager, and gatherer. It would be an idea for Keegan to keep this character going on to take the mantle of the Captain.
