Millions of mothers backs a year aren’t broken thanks to this skater

As an auto body man, I am horrified at that mix ratio you did. As a skater, I am grateful.

That one guy at the skate park that skates for a total of 5 min and spends 2 hours doing stuff like this

This fella just spent $22 to fill one crack at a skate park - I just built an entire skate park with $22 worth of ramen - *we are not the same*

that's like one of the most $$$ things u could use to fix a crack....may I suggest looking into quick set Crack filler

That can is $22 but concrete filler is ready to go and $9 💀

Congrats, you officially saved that crack for another 2 weeks before it’s back to how it was

This is the way I repair cars at work lmaoo "clean it, tape it, fill it with bondo"

Hmmm, that looks like a movement joint to allow for thermal expansion and contraction - filling it may lead to cracking and spalling of the concrete next summer. Hope it doesn’t, and you get some good skating out of it!

I used this stuff in my auto repair class. I was taught that u need about a pea sized amount of hardener for a golf balls worth of filler. U dont need much hardener for that amount of filler. It made me cry internally. That shit must’ve harden real quick.

Epoxy + grout mix or Sikaflex would have been perfect, it needs to be elastic enough to not crack/shrink in cold but hard enough to have durability. To ensure a actually proper bond it would be good to wash the crack (lol) or clean with compressed air, not only brush. I know these sound like small changes but they make the difference between 1 year fix & 30 year repair. Coming from someone who has fixed 100's of miles of different type concrete cracks 😃

It's so satisfying watch content like this

It doesn't look like a crack, it looks like a normal separation it is necessary in the concrete floor to prevent cracks, so I hope that stuff is flexible cause if not u will use more of that stuff lol

Make sure to be careful filing cracks like that! Sidewalks expand when hit with a lot of heat so those cracks are there so the sidewalk doesn’t form actual cracks!

The guy fixing the crack in the sidewalk, me thinking the entire time how much easier it would be for him if he didn't have a camera in his hand.

That is an intentional expansion joint meant to allow the concrete to expand and contract with temperature changes. By filling it in, you're putting tension on the entire slab which will cause fracture cracks over time

truly the most permanent fix.

also, that's a quasi-expansion slot, it is there for a reason and would possibly also make a difference in the rain, I don't think it's that big of deal though

surely you could find cheaper (and infinitely better) alternatives than body filler though? Like even straight up clay
