Great finds! I love all of your Sasha dolls, especially the redhead with the plaid dress. You got a great deal on that lovely Armand Marseille! My family believes I can sell my dolls for what I paid for them. I can ‘t make them understand that the porcelain dolls have lost their value and any doll is only worth what people are willing to pay for it! Those people with the Deanna Durbin doll might get what they want if they list it on EBay, but if not I hope they give you a call!

AM is Armand Marseille, so she's a genuine antique! In spite of the French-sounding name, it is a German company. Beautiful bisque face! Oo-oh! I've been wanting a Kiltie Sasha! *jealous* Dang it -- and another Sasha! Wot luck!
I'm with you on porcelain and bisque. I have a handful of antique bisque dolls, but I can't spend that kind of dough on something so fragile. And I do prefer vinyl, so it's all good.

I found an African American Sasha doll in a thrift store several months ago for 7.99. She was in good shape with her dress but missing one sandal. I was shocked to find her in a thrift store, and she was in a pile of porcelain dolls on the shelf. I couldn't believe my luck and was so happy to find her for my collection. I have a video of her if you are interested in seeing her. Take care.

Those little dolls in the bag are Caco dolls! Sometimes spelt Caho, they are indeed a German brand. : ) I like collecting them, but it's rare to find them in the wild I think, I always get them online.

Those are some fun finds. It is heartwrenching to see beautiful dolls like that and not be able to get them. I see the families side of it though.
It happens to me to when I'm looking at dolls and the sales person wants to come up to me and start telling me about the doll. I wonder why they don't assume you might be a doll collector. Yeah, they give a lot of wrong info. I try to just smile and remember they are just trying to make a living but it can be annoying.
