True Size of a Krieg Siege Army (Infantry) [999.M41] 3D Documentary

We continue to explore the true size of armies in Warhammer 40,000. This particular episode focuses on a Krieg Siege Regiment. We begin with the history of Krieg as a thriving hive world and how a disastrous civil war eventually left it as a hellish death world. Yet from the ashes rose a new Krieg army, the Death Korps.

We cover the Krieg Military at a high level. This includes their war doctrine and their particular ways of fielding massive troop counts for siege based combat. We then review the Death Korps army organization such as the 88th Siege Army which fought at the Siege of Vraks. Finally we reconstruct our own theoretical Siege Regiment from the humble Krieg soldier to the massive Line Infantry Company. In following episodes we will cover the armor, artillery, and support companies of this vast combined arms force.

The unique thing about Krieg reginents is that they are one of the few factions in the imperial army allowed to use combined arms. Most factons are by design weakened to prevent traitors from converting a guard army and having an effective fighting force.

Kriegs fanatical loyalty is so absolute, the imperium is not worried about them turning to chaos.

Perhaps the real siege of Vraks was the friends we made along the way.

The armies of Krieg are the only ones capable of making both Rogal Dorn and Perturabo look at them with a smile full of pride, forming one of the elite armies specialized in siege in the entire Astra Militarum (perhaps the best). They are the greatest terror of the heretics, Tau's and Eldar; on the other hand, they are the favourite enemies of the Orcs and the Tyranids.

They instill fear wherever they go and their resolution makes even the daemons and Chaos Marines tremble (except for Khorne, who enjoys the bloody battles in which they participate with determination).

Krieg is one of the best regiments to be reviewed in depth. I would suggest to use as much organization and combat use from the Siege of Vraks (like you´ve already started). Anyway massive thanks, for this kind of video !

7:24 actually, the vita wombs were sanctioned and even built by Kreig's local Adeptus Mechanicus forces in order to end the Civil war along with Kreig's famous generically enginered death rider mounts.

While talking about the command squad, you forgot to mention how absolutely *miserable* everyone (bar Commissars) are. No Krieger wants to be an Officer, you have to lead from the back and in a combined army scenario, deal with the plummeting morale of other Guardsmen regiments watching Kriegers stack their own bodies over obstacles. They *HATE* being Officers.
