Our family is making a big move from the south to the metropolitan area. We have not decided on New York or New Jersey but I am telling you we are looking at McMansion rentals for $4000 in Jersey I think we are going for Jersey! These rents are ridiculous for what you get, but thank you for your informative videos. They are very very good.

1 bedroom for 4-5k dollars to rent? I live in Copenhagen, Denmark one of the richest and expensive countries in the world. But that seems out of this world - how can people afford it? And even if they can afford it - why would they rent instead of owning if they have that sort of money?

The most crazy prices we have here are like 2.5 k for 1 bedroom maximum. But I think the average is about 2 k for a two bedroom apartment.
