When i told my friend about lizzie's story and the video he was like "eh thats the internet for you" -_- It should never be okay, its not right to call someone such things just because you're anonymous. Its stupid and cowardly.
Lizzie Velasquez inspires me to be a better person everyday, she taught me to turn the negativity in my life into something positive, to work my butt off to achieve my goals and dreams and I love her for that. <3

Just want you to know that I am so lucky just to have discovered you. I am a retired international airline captain now 77 years old. I’ve had a wonderful life. I’ve been very fortunate. Ever since I saw one of your videos, I just wanted to watch more. You are an inspiration to me and so many others. Not all Angels have wings, and this world is a better place because of you. I personally am a better man because of you and your lectures. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’ll be watching, rooting for you and learning. Love you.

Lizzie is just SO loveable. She could have become bitter and reclusive, but that's just not her. She is naturally bubbly, vivacious, and loveable! A true gift to humanity.

I have just stumbled on your story and my heart is broken to think of how cruel we can be to each other, but at the same time you have taken that terrible experience and channeled it into something positive. Your spirt, compassion and purpose burst through. I love your story. You defied the odds, and you are still standing, prevailing, and making a difference. All of us has something that we cannot control, and we have to find the courage to triumph over it, and NOT be a victim, but we cannot do it alone. Bless you, you are a game changer. You are amazing Lizzie. Thank you for sharing your gift, and finding your purpose

Wonderful young lady, very inspirational, she fought thru being different, and people making fun of her, making her feel she wasn't good enough. People can be cruel, but there are also good people out there.

I can relate to Lizzie. I was mocked, ridiculed, and harassed too. I've been called ugly, retarded (Because I would admit that I have Autism), Special Ed kid, Cringe Kid, Emo because, of my love for EDM music, A waste of fresh air, A disgrace to society, and even a big-mouthed gorilla. It got so bad that one time, I had a kid from my school come to my house with a knife threatening to kill me and my mom actually had to call the school.

When I turned 17, I've finally come to the conclusion that this world is harsh, negative, and judgmental. And the teachers were NO help either. Every time a kid said something to me, and I would try to defend myself, guess who got blamed? Guess who was written up? Me. One time I was at lunch, I was happily eating my food just to have my teacher yell this in front of the WHOLE cafe: "you eat like a slob! I would never take you out to dinner with me!"

Yeah, I've had it bad too but, this makes me feel better that I'm not alone. It just goes to show that this world is hopeless and will never get better.
