My rabbit's story:
One day I was knocking door to door for a school project, then we went to one house and in the bushes a little rabbit's head stuck out it took a few minutes but I finally caught it . The rabbit was in horrible shape it had patches of fur and matter fur, the next day I went up to the house and asked the homeowner if it was his rabbit he said yes it was and that it was alone so it escaped but he never tried to catch it and only fed it carrots so then I asked him if I could keep it and he said yes at first I did not know anything about rabbit rabbits and I fed it carrots but then I came across Lennon the bunny on YouTube so I bought hay I, then I had to heal his patchy fur so I went to the vet and they diagnosed it as fungal infection so we bought a fungal spray and in a few months it healed complety . Today he is 2 years old and on a proper diet but he does have seizures but rarely, the vet said that if it isn't happening too often or for too long it shouldn't affect his life . His name is dusty

Free roaming is seriously one of the best things you can do. At first, our bun wouldn't let us touch him (he's a fuzzy so it made grooming ... difficult). Incorporating him into our daily routines really helped us bond with him and now he's a total attention sponge. People think of bunnies as timid animals, but they are the complete opposite when they feel comfortable in a space.
