Homemade Vegan Chocolate Cake

Who doesn't like chocolate cake? The thought of anyone missing out on this epic treat really upsets me, so I came up with a vegan twist on the classic. It's great for vegans, but equally good for anyone with a dairy allergy. Give it a go and let me know how you get on in the comments box below.

375g plain all-purpose flour
250g soft light brown sugar
65g coco powder
1tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
*whisk*
1tbsp vanilla extract
1tsp white wine vinegar
85ml vegetable oil
250ml cold water
*bring together with a wooden spoon*
>in a pre-greased cake tin in a pre - heated oven at 190 degrees Celsius for 35-40 minutes <

for anyone who wants cup measurements too:
3 cups plain flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tbsp vinegar
1/3 cup oil
1 cup cold water

You can replace the white wine vinegar with apple cider vinegar or 3/4 tablespoon white vinegar, 1/4 tablespoon water and a pinch of sugar per each tablespoon of white wine vinegar needed
