Suddenly, diagnosed with late stage Neurological Lyme Disease, Ben Ahrens spent the next three years in a constant up-and-down struggle, trying to rid himself of this crippling illness. His eventual success led him to make discoveries that would revolutionize the way he views health and now approaches life.

Ben Ahrens grew up in New York City, received his early education at the Rudolf Steiner Waldorf School, and graduated from Pennsylvania’s Lafayette College with a B.A. in Philosophy.
He then began his professional career working with athletes and post-rehab patients as a corrective exercise and performance enhancement specialist. His weekly newspaper column, “Fitness Matters” in the East Hampton Independent and his directorship of East Hampton’s popular children’s summer surfing camp, earned him a reputation as a strong advocate of health and fitness.
Now he is the Executive Vice President at Innovative Medicine where he dedicates himself to improving healthcare through the advanced application of quantum physics to medical science.

I have a friend who is going through the same struggle with Lyme disease, and she has been to a dozen doctors who are also looking for that one thing. She's at the point that she feels she'll never get better, and the worst part is she's in a "support" group of Lyme disease patients who feed her hopelessness. I'll share this with her since she doesn''t believe me when I tell her she can heal herself.

I struggle everyday and have since 2001 or before I can't remember. I think it is different for all of us. I know that I have tried to remain positive. I think that has helped me as much as it can. Howver I am in a deep relapse at this time and I am lucky i can think enought to type this out.

I feel sorry for the doctors out there that really want help the clients but feel so limited because medical school doesn't teach natural ways of cure yourself.

I do believe in this, but it also makes me to wonder how some people can be so negative and mean-spirited never get sick.

I really wonder what alternative medicine/protocols he has used, apart from the DEEP BREATH, I know and believe in self-healing using various methods such as meditation, deep-breathing and visualization.

I usually don't comment in a negative tone, but, this is extremely deceiving. He went to a place in NYC that costs ALOT of money.
I'm happy he had the means to do so. But, it would be nice if man were more transparent in with what REALLY put his life back together

So wait, this guy went to a really expensive functional medicine clinic and he’s attributing his recover to “one breath”. Umm ok

this guy has really terrible actions. he lacks compassion and empathy. I wish more for him. it sickens me that he is offering advice to others when in his personal life he has harmed people.
