Hey man, do we strictly need to follow the rep rage or can we train to failure on every set?

No 😑. I'm 44 years old. I do ascending pyramid. Increase weight after each set, but reps go down. By the way: reverse pyramid is for strength. Ascending pyramid is for hypertrophy. Jay Cutler got huge with ascending pyramid.
