this is how you build big muscle fast... go heavy as fast as possible and with intensity. of course your diet and things have to be on point but training wise this is the best approach to build size and slabs and it is the method I use after a lot of experimenting. if i'm bulking i keep reps low and don't go past 8 or so at my lightest weight, if i'm cutting and want to expend cals i'll drop set lower in weight and go up to 12 reps. thas it mane.

I currently alternate my weeks between a heavy week and a light week. So I use reverse period on the light week. reps of 12, 14, 16 and then maybe 20.
The heavy week would be 10, 8, 6.
It's a nice variation to the norm.

Does all this pyramid training really help? I have wondered if using the most weight you can safely use, then keeping that same weight for multiple sets, would be just as effective.
