Find your lost Android phone

Just in case you ever lose your phone.

This is for Android users only. Apple may have an app for the iPhone. You will have to check.

Very simple to install.

From another Android device, not your phone. (It can even be a friend's phone)

Grab the app from the Play Store.

You can search for the app, Find my device.

Or grab it here.

Login using your Gmail account.

You must have a Google account.

Once the app starts you should see your phone registered on Play Store on the bottom of the screen.

You can send a sound to the phone (record your voice asking to return your phone or whatever works for you), lock the device and in extreme circumstances, wipe the phone of all data.

Handy if it's misplaced in the house, lost somewhere, or stolen.
