Big Data is an effective monopoly that has hamstrung small business. This “data cartel” is suppressing competition and innovation on both a commercial and individual basis. Chrysostom spoke of personal accounts of the problems and challenges in this area as an entrepreneur and her proposals to level the playing field. She painted a picture of what impact control and portability of our data would have on people around the globe. As Chrysostom stated, “the people will benefit more as the monopolies become less powerful and competition and small business rise.”

I'm a Realtor and Certified Appraiser and monopolies are now ruining the RE Market...pricing out a large majority of buyers, buying out entire neighborhoods to rent them...its rediculous as its supposed to be illegal

Very true im glad there are some people like you looking into this. Too many business are using sly n a busive tactics. More and more people are noticing !excessive ads everywhere. They do know the apps are already infested with data draing ads. Ads that bring in trackers 'anvassers an user info harvesters. This just the tip of user nightmare. Customers are the ones paying to have ads shoved in their faces thru more data usage. I wish there more people to expose this scandal.

I thought i was the only person who thought i should be paid every time a company made money off of my information. In fact as the product/Talent I should make 70% of the money on the low side, but really think 99% is more fair.
