Derivation of the general solution to the wave equation.

This video derives the general solution to the wave equation using the method of transforming the wave to two first order pdes

Please at the part where I wrote, we get these two equations
u_x + cu_t = v and
v_x + cv_t = 0

There is a typo. The subscribts were exchanged so please check that for me.
It is supposed to be
u_t + cu_x = v and
v_t + cv_x = 0 instead.
