Nice to watch a video with someone that says "Z" properly. LOL I used the D500 and D850 for a number of years. When I decided to go mirrorless I bought a Sony. I have now sold all my Sony equipment and waiting patiently for my Z8 to arrive. Very excited to have a Nikon in my hands again.

Enjoy shooting the Z9. It seems like the Z8 would be a great companion to the Z9 when size and weight are important. QQQ Would Nikon add pre-capture using Raw HI efficiency* for the Z8 and Z9?

I got one of your Action EX 16 x 50 Binoculars and it's nothing but chromatic aberration, could you guys tell me why is it this way? is this a normal thing or am I tripping?

Hey Nikon I love your Nikon P900 but who designed the port for the charging usb, as soon as I got it, it was pulled from its charging area and the small cheap metal around the port is warped so now has to be specifically positioned with the cord bend to a certain angle its so dumb that this camera at this cost has a cheap dumb easy to damage charging port and connectivity to the computer can disconnect causing multiple large file tranfers to fail. Also I use it for star gazing as you guys would be blown away from the videos I upload showing how the stars truly look however I must say in the cold the camera does not last long and will eventully power down. Anyway loving the camera just dropping my feedback.

Question if you have both a CXE and an SC card in the Z8 and shooting second card as a backup does that slow down the camera? If the SC is in the camera but only using it for overflow does that effect speed of camera? Thanks

One rumor floating around already is that the algorithm's on the Z8 might elevate the focus capability a tad beyond the current one on the Z9. Also there are a few reviewers trying to say the buffer is different. But they aren't comparing with the same CF card only, they are involving the use of an SD card that would skew the results.

Question for you Chris. I’m really interested to know what the addition of aircraft in the subject selection will do for me taking photos of planes, say at an airshow? Thanks for an interesting intro to this much anticipated release from Nikon

Very nice camera... But not for my budget. Can we expect an Z6 iii?

For those of us who would have preferred a Z8 (smaller size, easier to handle), but ended up buying a Z9 - many will have buyers regret. The value of the my Z9 just dropped like a stone, I anticipate new Z9 sales will essentially dry up. The "bang for your buck" is much better for the Z8. This combined with the lack of an affordable enthusiast lens in the 600mm range (Nikon Z 200-600 for example) for wildlife enthusiasts and ongoing issues with autofocus for fast moving objects such as birds in flight makes me feel like Nikon is not responsive to the needs and requests of it's enthusiast core. Furthermore, lack of any technologic improvements in the Z8 18 months after the Z9 release makes me feel like Nikon is falling further behind the competition.

Nikon tried to push every specs to the extreme, then offered to all users the best.

I am impatiently waiting for my Z8. The only thing it misses for me is internal GPS. I hope that my ancient GP-1 will fill in the gap.
