Nice stuff, Nikon! Got my order in! Never thought I'd be happy with the world's hellish supply chain issue delays, but cancelled my 800 pf in favour of this 600 marvel :) I have grown to take for granted my built in TC in my 180-400 so can't wait to have a 600 and 840 in the same tube :) And hey, Chris, thanks to your repair team who did an extremely fast and high-quality job after I dropped some of my gear. You are such a great teacher. We have learned some things for wildlife autofocus from several people, but if you could you have a program featuring the different modes for wildlife (like when and how to switch to 3D) it would be nice to have the flow from 1 person. Just superb, thanks a lot Nikon for this. I am a total nerd when it comes to the inside of the camera and just love to learn more of it. I work part time as photographer and enjoy my Z9, its a pleasure to work with it and the 3.0 made it just even more amazing.
The Nikon TV is just great, wish that it could be some more inspiring videos from some photographers, not only the ambassadors but some from the hardcore users that really burns for the work they do.
Here in Sweden we do not see much from Nikon, cut-downs has made them really anonymous, if we see anything its just from some girls that has been viral as some Tik Tok influensers, okay that is a genre to but probably not the greatest. It would be fun and interesting to see some shorts about users from all geners.
Now i will use bad language, Canon has made series of photographers all with different geners, some fantastic episodes i found on Netflix (Tales by light), can watch them over and over again and earn inspiration to my own work.

On the other hand I need answers to my questions, if you are able to answer!
As much as Nikon is for me the best in cameras and lenses, that's why I've been using Nikon for over 30 years!
So much for their communication! They are light years away!
For months and months, we have had no news of the 400mm f2.8 TC VR S, except that Nikon stopped pre-orders and no news since!! Why ?
It would be so much easier to give us an approximate date of availability!!
I sold my old 400mm f2.8 VR F series 6 months ago with a heavy heart because I wanted to buy the new one in Z mount which I had the chance to test in kenya last May, now I find myself without 400mm f 2.8 lenses!
I had planned 2 trips, one in September 2022 and the other in January 2023 which I had to cancel.
3 days ago I learned the release of the 600mm f4 TC VR S with a possibility of pre-order!
So I will definitely opt for the 600, but again we have no availability or delivery I still don't know what to do for my travels.
I'm an NPS customer, so I emailed NiKon Canada!!! No response from them! I emailed my dealer, their response: NiKon Canada doesn't know!!!
Nikon, innovates beautifully and releases products every 2 months.
But if we can't have them, it's not much use!
In Canada, the 400mm Z is at 22000$ CAD, the 600mm Z should exceed 24000$ CAD! I think customers who are going to buy one or both should have a little more consideration, because a lot of us are canceling our trips, and in my case, I have to make a credit with from my bank and I have a little trouble with them because we have no information on deliveries!

Hi Chris, could you test to see if the grip can work with a high quality USB-C splitter. Reason being, when using the DJI RS3 Pro gimbal with the Z9 it is not possible (at this present time) to use bluetooth pairing for camera control even though the RS3 recognises and indicates that it sees the Z9, therefore the USB-C output of the camera has to be used for both these excellent products to properly talk to one another! So if I want to use the grip in combination, I would need a splitter! Also for when using an external v-mount battery to power my rig! 👍🏾🙏🏾

Great video. I’m actually hoping for better firmware for the Z7ii. The animal eye detection needs a complete overhaul to include wildlife, not just dogs and cats.

I was on a wait list for the Z 400mm 2.8 TC for 8 months and finally said forget it, the vendor doesn’t even have it listed as available for order anymore. Will the Z 600mm TC actually come to Canada? Any idea of when?

Can Nikon add a role we can assign for the camera to set the lens focus to the hyperfocal distance for the lens/aperture combination. On button press to set this.

Good stuff as every time! It is any way to delete the whole "Burst" of continuous shot in one go instead selecting them one by one? For example when in multiple view of many bursts to choose one and delete it?

Posting videos on lenses, like the 400, 600 and 800mm, which are absolutely magical lenses and being TOTALLY unable to deliver them or even telling us why, NiKon not telling us anything is a lack of respect for your customers, I have been a Nikon user for more than 25 years, certainly more than $70, 000 of equipment purchased mainly from NiKon and this is the first time that this has happened over a period of time that exceeds a year!!!! (400mm f2.8 tv cr s) my pre-order of the 400mm has even been completely CANCELED, and I still don't know why!!!! So I ordered the 600mm f4 tv cr s, 1 month ago and I was told that I would have it (perhaps and it will be a miracle) in 4 or 6
Many of my photographer friends were so fed up that 2 sold their NiKon equipment and went to Canon 3 others went to Sony!!! I'm seriously starting to think about it after having canceled 2 trips abroad because of the non-delivery of the 400!
A word of advice, make your announcements when you are able to deliver.

I have the 500PF and the 800Z on order. Should I switch to 600Z and cancel the 800 and sell the 500?
