How to clean your beauty sponge to look Brand New!

Unbelieveable! This has been THE BEST method so far! I have tried the special beauty blender soap and it was pointless. Regular bar soap somehow dried out the blenders and up until now I used dishwashing liquid, but never got them completely clean. However the oil+dishwashing liq. even made my gross year old beautyblender look and feel like new! TYSM!

Instead of using olive oil, u can also use baby oil and shampoo as better smelling alternatives and they work just as effectively.😁

My sponges were extremely dirty and needed a good wash. I found this method and I am so thrilled and surprised how well it worked. I had so pretty tough/ old stains on my sponges that didn’t completely come all the way out but for the most part they are so clean! Definitely recommend this method. I did the olive oil and it seemed to work great. A lot of people in the comments prefer using shampoo or coconut oil too If you wanna do it that way. I enjoyed reading the comments to see if I wanted to try it, so that’s why I am stating my experience. I definitely recommend!!

This method does work!! I used hot water instead of boiling water so I don’t burn myself. Thank you so much for this! Now I don’t have to worry about throwing away and wasting money on a new one every time

I used to use Dove soap and water to clean my blenders, it doesn't work too well and still leaves a bit inside no matter how much I clean it. I just used this method and now my blenders look like new!! It even took out the old stains! Thank you so much for sharing!

I use a charcoal bar soap from dollar tree. Works amazing and gets everything out and takes less than 30 seconds
