Samsung stepped it up with the Tab s6. Just wished they made a 12 inch version like they did with the note pro 12.2 in 2014

I'm an artist, and I've been loving the Tab S6!
The 60 hZ refresh rate is the same as most Screen Tablets have (Art tablets you plug into the computer with a screen). The 16:10 also makes it feel more like a Screen Tablet. The screen also is obviously a good reason to choose this over other devices as better colors is always a pro for art.
The pen is the size of a small pen, and isn't as uncomfortable as some online reviews say.


I really would encourage artists looking for a portable device consider the Tab S6. Especially if its their first tablet.



Ibispaint really covers all the grounds I need, though I do wish Clip studio would become Android compatible for the maximum functionality.

I have both an iPad Pro and a surface go... and never replace my laptop for work..

I bought the surface go to use as a dedicated retro gaming couch pc. It’s awesome to be able to play the sims 1 & 2, old versions of civilisation, alpha centauri, sim city 2000 and 3000 and really any other game that I grew up playing available anywhere. It’s the world 10 year old me dreamed of...

iPad I use mainly for teaching. I mirror the display and project it in order to show different concepts, hand write notes rather than on the black board, etc

I just bought a surface go, removed the s-mode and then upgraded to windows 10, bought the 128g memory, added a 256g SD. I love it. I have a surface pro6 and its heavy and not as portable as I had hoped. the surface go (for me) is perfect for couch sitting and traveling. I dislike apple products because they are so proprietary. And watching this you are putting 3 different OS up against each other. I do like the approach but sometimes you just need a full computer over a tablet. I really like the the go with my android phone. best combo and they communicate and work well together. with apple.... well you know

I’ve had the iPad Pro since late august and it’s been really great. The Apple Pencil is terrific- there is absolutely no lag and the “ink” always stays right under the pencil the entire time. Although it doesn’t have an OLED display, the resolution is great. I run 4K movies through Netflix and Disney+ all the time and they look like they would in a movie theater (and the speakers really are great). The battery life is probably the best part- I usually only charge it every 2-3 days with normal use and with heavy use it has no problem lasting a full day. Using it is super smooth and it can easily run multiple apps at once. Its biggest drawback is probably compatibility- it has the computing power to run a lot of different types of software but apple hasn’t optimized the device for it (an example being Logic Pro, still not available for download on iPad even though it has similar computing power to some of apple’s laptops) so that gets frustrating, but I’m hopeful that apple will fix that soon

tbh, I would probably choose the Surface Go because it's the only device that runs real programs, and I can see it having much better and tighter integration with OneNote and other student oriented programmes. Great video comparison though!

Im in love with my Tab S6. I got the Verizon LTE version for $250 off msrp, with that and also $129.99 for the Keyboard on BestBuy .... meeennnn really make this Tablet most have! The versatility having Tablet and Desktop for my usage as small business owner make it worth the price for the entire package. Fast browsing, excellent multimedia player, the best screen so far and amazing speakers.

Here is what is important for me that I do not see emphasized much in review videos:
>Battery life (not charging life).
>How well palm rejection works for taking notes.
>Lag (or lack there off) when taking notes. Hopefully tested no One Note.


I would truly appreciate if you do that in the future with the upcoming S6 lite.

For work, I use a Surface Go connected to two monitors and an external keyboard and mouse on my Desk. And for when I'm on the sofa consuming entertainment with occasional needs to check-in and get some work done I have a Tab S6. The perfect combination.

Just purchased the Samsung tab 6. You are every bit correct on the amazing display and speakers. There are a ton of features I have yet to use. Wish it came with a backlit keyboard but otherwise, a good value if you can get it on sale.
